It has taken me many years to realize I cannot control the actions of others, no matter how hurtful they may be. I cannot reside in the past.
I can however, hold on to my dreams and wishes. Some will come true and others will not. Life is bittersweet. There is joy and there is sorrow.
If my brother's death has taught me anything, it's that you never take anything or anyone for granted. You stand by your family. You nurture positive relationships with those that care about you. You live each day with love and kindness in your heart. |

Need a one of a kind gift? Looking for the perfect baby shower, birthday, valentines, or wedding gift? How about purchasing a custom piece of art? It's the perfect gift for the person who already has it all.
Unlike buying chain store art that is mass produced, my artwork is original acrylic on canvas. No two pieces are alike, and each piece is signed and dated. Simply contact me with the individual's name, your vision, and the size of the canvas for an estimate.
Know what else goes into each piece? |

I have not been feeling well. For the past few months, my body has been spiraling out of control. I've been feeling fatigued, light headed, irritable, disoriented, etc. I can feel my iron being depleted over time. (My body doesn't absorb iron, so my iron levels are dangerously low.) I know without iron infusions, my health will continue to deteriorate. For now, there is nothing I can do.
Humor has always been my instant cure, so I created the comic blog "Little Miss Dramedy".
Enjoy! Feedback is always appreciated. |

One of my new children's books is calledThe Big Splash. The idea for it came from a baby shower invite which asked that everyone bring a book for the new baby. What a great idea! A book is both educational and fun. Reading is also something you can do with your child to create lifelong memories. I remember my dad reading to me as a child, although he usually fell asleep before me. His reading enabled me to memorize sight words, which enabled me to begin reading at an early age. |
